||
| Current Production | “Carry On Fawlty Towers” would make a great subtitle for this hilarious romp from master of comedy Dave Freeman, scriptwriter of the Benny Hill shows and several Carry On films. Set in a rundown hotel in a quiet French village near the German Border, this fast paced farce has the feel of ’Allo ’Allo, and is packed with double-booked rooms, mistaken identities and hasty cover-ups. An English couple think themselves lucky to have found a room for the night on the eve of the village festival, but not for long…when a businessman booked for the same room, his mistress then also his wife arrive things start to get a little complicated! Eventually everyone ends up in the wrong bed in this riotous comedy that’ll convince you to holiday at home next year… Performances: Wednesday 18th until Saturday 21st November at the Compass Theatre, Glebe Avenue, Ickenham. Curtain up at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £10.00 or £9.00 concessions (Wednesday / Thursday only) and are available from RDS on: 01895 675343, and also from the theatre on 01895 673200. | ||
