A comic whodunnit that would see even Poirot at a loss for words!
Set in a country manor house in the 1930s, Gordon's play is a hilarious spoof of the Agatha Christie genre with all the traditional character stereotypes beautifully portrayed to the
delight of the audience. Among the characters is Miss "Maple", who is of course rather good at detective work, an English Colonel with the pre-requisite stiff upper lip and Inspector
Pratt, England's answer to Inspector Clouseau. Add to this a butler, a smooth-talking French art-dealer and a traditional English policeman and you have the ingredients for an
evening of mayhem and murder. So- will you start with the unmistakeable and proceed to the "un-unmistakable"? Can you guess who did it, or will you die laughing first? From the team who brought you "A Bedfull of Foreigners" and "The Ghost Train" join us for this hilarious comedy which will confound even the best sleuths amongst us. Performances: Wednesday 19th until Saturday 22nd May at the Compass Theatre, Glebe Avenue, Ickenham. Curtain up at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £10.00 or £9.00 concessions (Wednesday / Thursday only) and are available from RDS on: 01895 675343, and also from the theatre on 01895 673200. |
