IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY
A rip-roaring farce for Christmas from the Master - Ray Cooney
It’s 3 days before Christmas and Dr. Mortimore is about to deliver the most important speech of his life, which should earn him a knighthood. But then enters Jane Tate, an old flame with a son he never knew he had! Combine this with the fact that this son is now in reception, desperate to meet his dad and things start to get a little complicated for the good doctor.
A heavy dose of invented stories and manic cover-ups is therefore prescribed in this riotous comedy where the truth must be avoided at all costs! And what could possibly go wrong with a Police Sergeant, a severe hospital Matron and worse still Dr. Mortimore’s wife all on the scene as well?!
It Runs in the Family is farce at its finest from the Master, Ray Cooney.
